St Helens Festival 2007
In July 2007, St Helens held its first
ever Festival in Sherdley Park. The Festival was intended to display the full breadth of cultural and community
activities in the Borough. Only two local choirs were invited to perform and we were the first to take the stage.
Despite the rain and the mud and lack of accompaniment, we sang a full and varied programme to an appreciative audience which
was surprisingly large considering the appalling weather!
